ZeAllgrate FRP Molded Grating

ZeAllgrate FRP Molded Grating
ZeAllgrate molded grating is manufactured in a compression molding process that interlocks continuous glass fibers in two directions, delivering exceptional bi-directional strength and impact resistance. It is the world's most widely specified FRP grating — and ours is engineered for the harshest service conditions.
- Bi-directional strength: equal load capacity in both panel directions
- Anti-slip surfaces: concave/convex, grit-top (silica) options
- 3+ resin systems: isophthalic, vinyl ester, phenolic, fire-retardant
- Panel sizes up to 1220 × 3660 mm; thickness 25 / 30 / 38 / 40 / 50 mm
- Non-conductive, non-magnetic, spark-resistant
- Service life 20+ years with zero maintenance in corrosive service

Installation Notes
Cutting
Carbide-tipped or abrasive cutters; support both sides of the cut; wear dust protection. Wet cutting recommended.
Fastening
Fasten every panel at every support intersection. SS304/316 G-clips in corrosive service; expansion bolts for concrete.
Orientation
Pultruded bearing bars run across the span — never parallel. Leave thermal gaps at fixed supports.
| Installation Parameter | Recommended Practice | Standard Reference |
|---|---|---|
| Support Spacing | Maximum span per certified load chart — never exceed recommended clear span | Load chart per configuration |
| Bearing | Minimum 40 mm bearing on each support | ZeAllgrate practice / ISO 14122-3 |
| Fastener Spacing | Minimum 2 hold-down clips per support beam, spaced ≤ 1219 mm (4 ft) on centre; minimum 4 clips per panel | Per ZeAllgrate engineering practice |
| Thermal Expansion | Allow 3 – 5 mm expansion gap at fixed supports; molded coefficient ≈ 15–25×10⁻⁶ /°C (direction dependent) | Manufacturer data |
| Cut Holes | Seal cut edges in chemical service with resin; radius corners to avoid stress points | Design guide |
| Fall Protection | Handrail height ≥ 1100 mm (ISO 14122-3) / 42 in (OSHA 1910.23); kickplate where required | OSHA 1910 / ISO 14122 |
